Royal Oaks south edmonton homes

With the massive increase in Edmonton’s population and the construction of new suburbs in all parts of the city over  the past decade, there has been a growing trend for families to now look beyond the compact housing and congestion of conventional suburbs to more intimate, secure, yet still wonderfully located neighbourhoods like Royal Oaks.

Royal Oaks is the perfect place to call home for today’s active busy family. It combines the best aspects of city convenience with the privacy, friendliness and security of quiet country living. Nestled on the far south side of Edmonton, just minutes from the region’s many amenities, plus all the amenities of Beaumont and Nisku, life in Royal Oaks allows you quick easy access to everything you need while letting you escape the stress and complications of living in a crowded suburban community. It’s also lets you escape the ridiculously high costs of buying a new home in a city suburb along with the limited selection of tiny narrow lots and homes that go along with it.

You get access within minutes to South Edmonton Common, Anthony Henday Drive, Gateway Trail, Edmonton International Airport and Beaumont.

Growing excitement is building for Royal Oaks’ homeowners as they await the upcoming completion of the Premium Outlet Mall on the Aertropolis lands only 8 minutes away. This 214-hectare parcel of land, south of Edmonton International Airport is being turned into a major commercial district that includes hotels, restaurants, exhibition and conference centres, shopping and service centres, and manufacturing and distribution firms. The developer, Ivanhoe Cambridge, are currently constructing a 415,000 sq.ft. retail complex next to Highway 2, just south of Airport Road. The indoor shopping mall is slated to host approximately 100 stores, many of them making their first appearance in Alberta.
The Premium Mall will be “Edmonton’s first and only pure outlet center” and help make the region a shopping and entertainment destination for thousands of people every day.  The Mall would be accessible by shuttle from the airport. It is expected to open in the fall of 2017.
